Back to work, ugh.

Well, it's been a very long week. I put about 300 miles on my car going from our house to mom and dads and/or Jenn's house to work and then back to whoever's house who was watching Brady to pick him up before going home again. Tonight was the first time Brady, Jeremiah and I have all three been together for more than five minutes over the past week. Before today Jeremiah and I only saw each other for about 35 minutes since Tuesday. In 50 years when people ask us what's the secret to a lasting marriage we can say, "Well, if you never see each other what's there to fuss at each other about!" Ha ha. Things should get a little better next week because we will start taking Brady to day care which is closer to home.

Brady had a fun week at Mema and Poppy's house. And he got to spend one afternoon with Aunt Jenn and the boys. He's doing a lot of fun things now. Today Jeremiah said, "He's more fun now that he's doing stuff." It was funny. We used to just sit around and look at him. Now he's starting to interact with us. He recognizes us and coos at us and smiles when we talk and play. He's got this funny aligator toy that squeaks and makes noise and he loves it. It's got these two little felt teeth on the front of it and Jeremiah likes to stick them in Brady's nose. It makes him smile really big every time! Brady grabbed Al with his hand once and held onto him for a few seconds the other day! Progress. He's been sleeping longer at night too which is definately a welcome change since I'm back to work now. Instead of getting up at 2 or 2:30 a.m it's more like 4:30 or 5. I like it. Today he went 4 hours between feedings so that's really good too!

My new store is pretty cool. The people are really nice and it's a way more laid back atmosphere. So far I have had to put out a few fires and I already wrote up one freak, but it's been pretty good otherwise. I'm making some pretty big changes to the layout of the laundry department because sales stink and the way it is laid out now doesn't really make sense to me. Hopefully the change will bring positive sales. Our regional vice president is coming Thursday so I am going to have to study up on numbers Wednesday night, but that's not so bad. I met him once before. He's this big tall guy from Texas and he seems pretty nice and easy going.

Well, I know that's a lot of random information, but it's been a really, really long week and Jeremiah keeps asking me questions while I'm typing so I can't keep a straight thought and Brady is waking up to eat now too, so I have to get going. We took some pictures today of Brady in the exersaucer - his first experience in it was today!!! He loved it. I'll put them on later this week. I finally get a day off Tuesday so probably then.

Pen pals

Brady finally got to meet his friend Ava in St. Louis Friday night. We went over to Chris and Laurie's house for dinner. Ava is 5 weeks older than Brady, but only about two-thirds the size of him! They are cutey-pies!
Aww. They're holding hands! He's already liking the older women - just like his Daddy! (Secretly I am 11 months older than Jeremiah. I was born in 1979 and so I give him trouble all the time about how he was born in the 80's. Stacey and I were driving with him in New Jersey a few summers ago and I said something about an old song and Jeremiah was like, oh, yeah, I remember it. Then he started to sing it. Stacey and I were like, um, no. That's a different one. Then I said, "Yes, someone born in the 80's would think of that song, but we who were born in the 70's know better!" He didn't talk to us for five miles)

Ava's saying, "It's okay friend. I'm here for you! I get fussy when I'm sleepy too!"

Who's five weeks older??? He certainly doesn't look it!

Their first glances at each other! Brady didn't know what to think. Usually the only baby he gets to look at is him in his mirror! Even though Ava is smaller she can do some pretty fun stuff that Brady can't yet, like almost sit up by herself and hold onto toys and blankets. They can both suck on their hands pretty good and make some pretty cute noises! And they both have the exact same pacifier!

All dressed up

Brady and Daddy

Um, hello - am I still pregnant cause I totally look like it here...weight watchers here I come!

Awwww. Checking out Daddy.

Just plain cute!

Wedding pics 1

Logan with mouth full of Skittles! - We're talking at least 15 Skittles in there.

Kelly looked like a princess ... or Wedding Barbie!!!

Stacey and Brady hanging out at the reception. Stacey and I sat next to each other because our husbands wanted to sit by each other and talk about cars and racing and whatever else!!!

Wedding pics 2

Poppy Don and Brady passing time between the wedding and reception.

Jeremiah was making Brady dance to "Great Balls of Fire." If Brady could have spoken at this point he would have said, "Uh, Daddy, watch out I'm about to puke!" To much shaking going on!

Our family is getting bigger every year! We have Dustin and Kelly in the front, then from the left Jeremiah with me and Brady, Jeff and Stacey, Uncle Russ and Aunt Linda, mom and dad, and then Jenn, Mike and the boys, Ryan and Logan.

Yes, yes...that's Buddy the groomspuppy! He even wore a bowtie! Ryan and Logan got a kick out of him!

Bunch of Brady's

Now that's a good looking bunch of Brady's! The Brady on the right is my aunt Linda's doggy.

Brady and great-aunt Linda. She was nervous about feeding him since it's been 29 years since she fed a baby! She kept asking if she was doing it right and Jeremiah and I kept telling her, "Oh, you'll know if you're not...he won't be shy about letting you know!!" She did just fine. It's like riding a bicycle... you've fed one baby, you've fed them all!

Cape retardo

We visited our old group of friends in Cape on Sunday. Alex's girlfriend Keely was moving into a new house so we took a load over in our new truck and then we all hung out eating bbq and catching up on old times. Her new house is out in the country and has a bunch of property and a little lake with a dock. We made a little fire down by the dock and sat around till about midnight.
Erin, Keith, Brandon, Sis (the dog) and Bridgette.

The gang's all here! We bbq'ed some ribs and fried up some tators just like old times. Throw in a couple of beers, some Sprite for me and it was like we never left!

Josh, Alex, Keely.

Mommy and Brady - sitting around the bonfire, Brady's first one!!

My pal Sis

That's one cool pup. (Yes ... she's wearing my sunglasses)

Sis.
Sis is Jeremiah's old roommate Keith's doggy. She's the reason we got Holly. We wanted a dog as cool as Sis. She's so cute and so fun and she is very well behaved. Keith taught her everything she knows with one pack of bologna! - hey, it's cheaper than puppy school! Once Jeremiah and Keith were driving a fourwheeler at hunting camp and clocked Sis running at 35 mph along side it! She's a fast pup!

Cooling off

We wouldn't leave home without Brady's easy chair! Here he was taking a nap in David and Connie's sun room. They have a screened in porch that has heat and a/c. We were hanging out that morning while David and Jeremiah ran some errands. When they came back they were sweating and I said, "Is it hot out?" They both kind of laughed. It was like 95 outside, but a cool 72 in the sunroom!!!

Puppy patrol

Murphy.
David and Connie's newest puppy. He's resistant to change to say the least...he can sense it from a mile away. David said when they used to take walks in the morning if a new car was in the neighborhood, Murphy would know it and want to walk on the other side of the street! Needless to say he was ok with us being in his house but he didn't want us to pet him. He ran the other way when we tried. He only let me pet him once the whole time we were there - and then I think he didn't really know it was me!

Bailey.
She's so cute! I love her little nose! Bailey liked to look at Brady, but any time he would fuss she would grumble at him! It was really funny. Bailey reminds me a little of the cocker spaniel we had growing up. Her name was Jessie and she had curly ears like Bailey - but she was brown instead of black and white.

5 o'clock somewhere

On Thursday David's friends from Farmington High School gave him a going away bbq. He started as a science teacher 28 years ago and moved his way up to principal. This year he's going to move to Wentzville to be the principal for the Timberwolves. Brady celebrated in style with some fancy pink flamingo sunglasses and later a green lei and umbrella. He had fun for about an hour, then the 100 degree heat got to him and we had to get into some A/C.

BC: Big Cow

This is a giant cow. Seriously, he's probably like 30 feet tall. He sits right outside High Hill, Missouri. We don't know why, but we like him. We named him Big Cow like 18 years ago when Jenn started college at Mizzou. We would drive up there what seemed like every weekend and we would always wave to BC (his knickname) as we drove by. Jenn went to Mizzou for 4 years, then Stacey did. Then they moved to KC and we had to come visit them up here. So for the past 18 years not a trip has passed when we haven't said hi to BC. He was looking a little rough around the edges on our last trip from KC to St. Louis last year when grandma died, but this time he had a fresh coat of paint on him. Lookin' good BC!!!

She's having a baby!!

My sister Stacey is having a baby! Hooray! Brady will have a little friend who will be just 10 months younger!!!!! Stacey and her husband Jeff will get their little one in March next year!! She's 6 weeks right now...only 34 to go!!! We're all praying for an uneventful, smooth pregnancy! Stacey has her first OB appointment Friday so that's exciting. We should find out in October or early November what it is - as long as he/she cooperates like Brady did! If it's a girl she'll be totally spoiled as the first girl grandbaby on our side of the family. If it's a boy, hooray! Brady will have a buddy to pal around with when they get older. Plus, he will have all the boy hand-me-downs from Ryan, Logan and now Brady!! As long as he/she is healthy we don't really mind which he/she is! This will be Jeff's fourth baby! He has three great kids from a previous marriage. Two boys and one girl (all teenagers), in that order so who knows...maybe it will be 50/50 boys & girls. Whatever it is his daughter Lacy is going to have fun helping take care of it. She's good with Brady and she'll be good with her little brother or sister! We'll keep everybody updated on how her pregnancy is going and let you know what it is when they find out! For now Stacey's just trying to get used to not being able to take her Zyrtec allergy medicine and she's having some morning sickness...the old people at the nursing home where she works as a speech pathologist are making her nauseaus occassionally doing things that normally wouldn't bother her! That should subside in a couple weeks though so that's good.

Missing fish and happy pups

Well, we made it home. It was a very busy trip...very busy. We were on the go the whole time. I think we need a vacation from our vacation. Too bad we both get back to work pretty quickly - Jeremiah tonight and me tomorrow. We spent about 3-4 hours in the car every day on our trip going here and there. Poor Brady doesn't know what to do with himself now that we're home. We got in about 10:30 last night. He was pretty fussy and didn't go to bed until about 1 a.m., but I think he was happy to finally be back in his crib. We were happy to be back in our own bed too! We lost a fish while we were gone. We imagine the other canable fishes ate him. He was pretty old and he was the last of the small ones so I bet they didn't let him get much food. Now we're down to seven big guys. Jake seemed to manage just fine on his own. He wouldn't stop meowing at us when we got in, but he still had food and water so that was good. He eats like Brady so I figured he'd have finished it all off in the first couple days!!! We got up this morning and drove to Topeka to get the pups. They had a good time with their cousins Casey and Ginger. Brian and Aubrey said Holly chased their cat Salem around the whole time. She LOVES cats! We loaded Amber, Holly and Mufasa in the back of the car and headed home. Finally, our journey is complete and the family is back together again!
The only crummy thing about our trip was I didn't get to see my friend Renda in Cape Girardeau. My cell phone was dead and so I didn't have her number when we got to Cape. We'll have to get together the next time we head that way, or when she and her family come up to KC.
We had a good time overall though and we'd do it again - and more often - if gas didn't cost $3.00/gallon. I have pictures from our various stops along the way, but I have to wait for chubby bubby to fall asleep before I go back to the other computer and load them on here. Jeremiah is sleeping since he's got to work all night so Brady and I have to be quiet. If he takes a nap I'll get them on here, if not it will probably be late tonight after he goes to bed. I'll be up late anyway studying training materials for my new job that I start tomorrow. There are some new policies and procedures I have to get caught up on before I go. Keep checking in, I promise I'll get them on here as soon as possible!

Road trippin

Well we are in St. Louis, having a great time. Brady is getting to experience a lot of new things and meet a lot of new people. Yesterday we went to my cousin Kelly's wedding. It was really nice. On the way there we were driving and some roads were closed because of downed trees and powerlines so we had to take a detour. Well, come to find out we were at Washington University instead of the University of Missouri - St. Louis. So we called Stacey and left a message saying, "We're lost, call us back." Then we called Jenn and luckily she was able to direct us to the correct place. So then when we were almost there Stacey called. I asked if she got our message and she said no. Then she said, "How do you get from Wash U to UMSL?" I laughed really hard. They printed off the wrong directions from MapQuest too!!! Once we all got there we had a good time. Brady was kind of fussy so he and I watched from the back of the chapel.
The reception was fun too. Brady had a good time dancing on the table. There were some other kids there that were fascinated with him! He also got to meet his great-aunt Linda, great-"ukkle rukkle" (that's what I called him when I was little, really his name is Russ.), and his 2nd cousin Kelly.
Friday night we got to go to my friend Laurie's house and see her baby Ava. She's so cute, but she's so tiny compared to Brady. It's so funny cause she's 5 weeks older than him! She was smaller when she was born though. We have some fun pictures we'll put on here when we get back to KC.
Thursday night we went to a bbq for David that the high school down here had for him as a going away party. He's going to be working at a new school district this fall. He's been in Farmington for longer than Jeremiah's been alive! Brady had fun there for the first hour or so, but then he got too hot - it was still like 100 degrees that day and very humid! We came home a little early from that and once he cooled down he was good to go.
The weather has been a little crazy since we got here. Wednesday when we were driving down it was 100+ degrees. We stopped in Booneville, right outside Columbia to get cheap gas - if you can really call $2.75 cheap! We ate there too and so our stop was about 45 minutes long. Jeremiah was getting ansy when we got back on the road thinking we weren't going to get to Farmington till midnight. Well, it turns out that our stop was a good thing because once we got outside St. Louis Connie called and said there were tornado warnings all around and the weather was really bad. Lucky for us we just followed the storm all the way there and just missed every piece of it. When we were traveling through St. Louis though we saw the damage - tree parts all over and half of the city was pitch black. Thursday the weather was just really hot and then Friday another round of storms hit the city. The hair and nail place where Kelly was supposed to go with her whole wedding party didn't have electricity so they had to find another place. Luckily the wedding and reception sites still had power.
Today we are going down to Cape Girardeau to see Jeremiah's old college roomies and check out how the town has changed since we left. We hear it's grown a ton! Tomorrow our road trip comes to an end. We're going to drive up to St. Louis to see my college buddy Gabe and then over to St. Charles to visit Aunt Linda. Our last stop before heading home will be to see Dave's new high school in Wentzville.
Tuesday we have to go to Topeka to pick up the mutts! Hopefully Jake and the fish are doing ok at home. We gave them plenty of food, and Jake plenty of water so they should be good.
When we get back we'll put lots of pictures on here so you can see the fun we've been having!!!

Mommy and me

Mama's little man.

Standing around

Is he doing a jig or trying to walk?

Sitting in Daddy's lap

Brady says, "I like standing. Standing's my favorite!"

**Yawn** All this action has made me sleepy!!

Chunky Monkey

Well Brady had his two month check-up today. He is now 23 inches long (he was 20 when he was born) and his head measures 16 inches around (it was 14 when he was born). Dr. Tickles said those measurements are both in the 50th percentile for his age. When she looked at his weight she said, "Well, he's a little chubby." He weighs 13 pounds, 4 ounces. She didn't tell me what percentile that was, but I guess it's on the high end. She said once he starts skipping his 2:30 a.m. feeding he should level out - hopefully sometime in the next month. He got four shots today too. Yuck. He didn't like those too much, but he recovered quickly. By the time we left he was asleep. He slept all the way through Kmart and for two hours once we got home. We had to get some infant Tylenol because he has to have it every for hours for a day to help with the pain of the needles and to prevent a fever. We had to get a prescription picked up for some lotion for his cradle cap too.
We talked to the doctor about his spitting up so much and she said to try to sit him up more while feeding him and for 30 minutes after eating. She said if it didn't get better with that to try to add just a little bit of rice cereal to his milk. We might try that at night to help him sleep a little better!!
Other than that he's doing great and progressing as he should! He had his first long car ride last night- we went to Topeka to drop the dogs off at Brian and Aubrey's house while we go to St. Louis. They'll have their hands full with two cats and five dogs for the next week! Whoa. At least the dogs can spend a lot of time outside - they have a big troff (how do you spell that??? !!!) of water for them. At least all of the dogs get along. We take turns watching them for each other when we go out of town so they get to play with each other.

Waters, waters everywhere - part I

(the title of this blog entry: "Waters, waters everywhere" is a literary reference, slightly modified...10 points for you if you know the story it comes from!)
The Waters boys: David, Brady, Jeremiah & Hal.

Great-grandpa has the perfect touch!

Great-grandma loves to hold Brady!

Waters, waters everywhere - part II

While I worked Saturday and Jeremiah slept after his shift was over, Brady got to hang out with Grandpa, Grannie, and his Great-grandparents! It looks to me like Grandpa Dave is having a little heart to heart with Brady, asking him not to make a fountain when he takes off his diaper!!

Smiling at Grannie Connie.

The first good look at little man for Connie and Margaret!

Hot wheels

J's new orange truck! It's a Chevy Colorado. It's inspired Jeremiah to sing his favorite Brad Paisley song: Mud on the tires...the lyrics go - "I've got some good news, the bank finally came through, and I'm holding the keys to my brand new Chevrolet."

Brady's seat fits just right in the back seat. This new truck has the safer latch system in it. The old truck didn't have it and we had to use the seatbelt to secure the car seat base.

A pirate's life for me...

I got a happy meal from McDonalds one day (are you surprised?) and the toy was a Pirates of the Carribean bandana. It was a little too small for me, and a little too big for Brady, but we just tied it tight in the back and called it good! Watch out Johnny Depp - Brady's the cutest pirate in all the land!!!

AAARRRRGGGGHHHH.

Even a pirate's got to take it easy once and a while!!!

Hi ho, Hi ho, it's off to work...

Well, I went back to work today. The good news is I got the new job and I start a week from Wednesday. I have a lot of training materials to get through before then on new processes and policies and different things that have changed since I worked in appliances before. My new job title is Brand Central Assistant Store Manager. I'm in charge of all of appliances, electronics and mattresses at the Antioch store. Last year those departments did a combined $9 million in business. It's a decent store...with some definate opportunities for me to shine. They haven't been taking advantage of the tremendous profit that can be driven from mattresses so if I turn that business around I'll look like a hero - lots of profit to be had in mattresses....kind of like bras. You wouldn't think it, but intimate apparel is one of the highest margin lines in the whole store. Unfortunately they're a lot lower priced than appliances and mattresses so you have to sell a whole heap of bras and underwear to really make up for any losses in brand central!
The cool thing about the new store is that the volume is considerably less than the store I'm at now so it's a slower pace. I should be able to get three times as much done there in the same amount of time. The sucky thing about it is that the mall it's anchored in is being torn down... a new store is supposed to be built on the other end of the property, but no one seems to know when and so customers are thinking we're not there to stay. Here's where the handy "We're here to stay" signs come in. They ordered some giant ones and they're hanging on the outside of the store.
Well, since I've been up since 5:30 a.m. and Brady is sleeping peacefully in his crib I'm going to try to catch some zzz's. I'll try to put some photos on the web before I go in tomorrow afternoon, but no guarantees! - it all depends on how Mr. Brady is acting.

Happy 8 weeks!

Well, Brady turned 8 weeks today! Can you believe it's been 8 weeks already? I can't. Today also signifies my last day of freedom from work. I go back tomorrow. The good thing is the store manager from the one I interviewed at called today and said he's going to meet me at my current store in the morning so we can "chat." I just looked online to see if the job was still posted and it isn't. So I guess it's officially, unofficial that I have the job. Now we talk moolah. And boy do we need it! Day care is not cheap. Also, today we went to look at trucks for Jeremiah. His Ram is a gasoholic and we need something more econimical. We're looking at a Chevy Colorado. It's nice. And it's orange which totally rocks...not bright orange, the rusty orange-brown color on lots of Chevys. And instead of 10/13 mpg like the Ram, the Colorado gets 23/27. That's a lot better!

Well, I must be getting to bed. I have to drag myself out of it around 5:30 a.m. Argh. And unfortunately Brady is being fussy tonight. Every other night for the past three weeks he's gone to bed with no problem. Tonight, the night I actually need to get to bed, he wants to fuss. Oh well. Part of being Mommy. Hopefully he'll only wake up once tonight to feed...let's keep our fingers crossed!

PS - more pictures are coming soon...I promise.

Space Junkie

Ok. My name is Heather and I'm a Myspace.com addict! Whoa. It's sort of a good thing I'm going back to work because I'm going to get carple tunnel syndrome playing on myspace so much! It's Jeremiah's fault...he's the one who introduced me to it. So here's the drill for anyone who's not addicted: you can get on there and create a profile about yourself and then you can search for people you know and add them as your "friends." I'm totally addicted to finding friends. It's like I'm a caveman and have just discovered fire for the first time. Today I found an old high school friend Sara. And get this: she just had a baby May 1st this year! Is that totally crazy or what? Small world. We have gone to school together since kindergarten and lost touch after high school...she went to Southwest and I went to Southeast. Now, all of a sudden nine years after high school...yes that's right, 9 years...we found each other on a crazy web site called myspace! I've found a bunch of old sorority sisters, some friends from the newspaper I used to work at and of course some high school friends. It's pretty fun to see how some folks lives have turned out. A lot of people are married now and some have kids.
Jeremiah thinks he's created a monster and he's sort of right. This morning I was so tired so after I got done reading "Antlers Forever" to Brady I decided to let him look at himself in his mirror while I got on myspace. Brady fell asleep and one would think that I would lay down for a nap right? Wrong, I got my second wind prodding around myspace and never did get a nap!
I recommend Myspace to anyone...however I will warn you that it is highly addictive!
PS - you can get really cool graphics like this Garfield for your site too which makes it even more fun. Whoa. I need to breathe, I'm getting to excited about it again! (At this moment Jeremiah is calling me a dork...that's ok...that's why he loves me!!!!)

Coming up: road trip

Brady is getting ready for his first official road trip. We're going to St. Louis in a couple weeks for my cousin's wedding. We're pretty excited because we're going to go to the best zoo in the universe, the St. Louis Zoo! It's especially great because it's one of only a few free ones in the country. We're also going to get to see my friend Laurie and her baby Ava who's only a month or so older than Brady.
Jeremiah is really excited about the trip too because we get to eat at White Castle and Jack in the Box. Yum!
We're also going to swing down to Cape Girardeau to see some old college buddies. It will be crazy to see all the changes that have taken place since we left there three years ago! From what we hear it's grown a ton and looks a lot different.

Day care

Well, we got daycare situated...sort of. We found a woman up north who does daycare in her home part time which works for our schedule...again, sort of. There are serveral problems, however, which I'm sure will be worked out in the next couple of weeks, but right now just seem very irritating.
First, I am supposed to go back to work on Friday...but which store? Who knows. I interviewed at the store my current boss said was mine if I wanted, but haven't received confirmation from anyone that I really am getting that job. The store manager there said he had 4 candidates to interview and that he was going to make a decision by the end of this week. Ok. Here are my issues: 1. My boss said the new job was mine if I wanted it... 2. The new boss-to-be supposedly, asked me during the interview how having a child would affect my work...um, isn't that illegal? 3. Um, hello - I'm supposed to return to work ... would someone mind telling me where I'll be working and what I'll be doing, please!
Second, like I said earlier the daycare lady is up north so if I am going back to my current store she won't work out, but we already put a deposit down because my current freak of a boss said it was a done deal.
Third, the daycare lady will work for us three weekdays, but we still have to find something to do with Brady on Saturdays. That's where my family comes in...hopefully! We'll have to rotate him around.
Fourth, if I don't get a new job we're in trouble because we can't afford daycare without a raise!
Fifth, I'm so sad at the fact that I even have to go back to work in the first place and have to deal with this stupidity at all! Oh well, I guess that's just part of life.

Monkey business

The photo on the left is Brady and his monkey at three weeks. The photo on the right is at 7 weeks! Can you believe how big he's getting. You can really tell the difference if you look at how far above and below the blue outline his head and feet stick! Wow. My little boy's growing up so fast!!! His head looks a lot bigger too! Since he was born just 7 short weeks ago he's gained about three pounds and he's grown about three inches! It's so crazy. I see people out in stores with their babies and they look so tiny. I wonder how old they are. Some of them are probably his age, but he's just so giant compared to them!

Cradle crud

Well, Brady's got the cradle crap...um, cap...
It's pretty icky. I noticed it today when I was feeding him this morning. I put my hand on the back of his head and felt a scaly patch about the size of a nickle. I had been noticing some flakes like normal dandruff flakes the past few days, but today is the first day for the patch. We gave his hair and scalp a good brushing and tonight he got a bath with an extra good shampoo. Hopefully it will clear up soon. If not, we're going to the doctor in about 10 days for his 2 month check-up (can you believe that is here already) so we'll see what she says...unless it gets really nasty, then we'll have to give her a call.

My mobile and me

Brady is getting over his latest growth spurt. During it he wanted to eat every two hours during the day and never go to sleep! We had to come up with creative ways to stay busy - and quiet - during the day so Daddy could get some sleep. One day the only thing he wanted to do was look at his mobile. It has a lion, a deer, a giraffe and two alligators on it and it plays Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. We got smart and rigged it up to hang from a TV tray in the living room instead of having him lay in his crib all day. That way we could play on the floor, do some tummy time, read some books and then turn on the mobile all without going anywhere! Genious!

Cool cousins

Brady's cousin Logan showed him a cool Tonka truck.

Cousin Ryan was really excited to finally be able to hold "Baby Brady." He was very gentle with him and even got him to settle down when he was crying!

Ryan brought down all of his favorite toys from his room to show Brady.

Good buddies.
