Curious George

I'm home from work today...I went in this morning but came home a couple hours later because the severe pain in my right side is back. No one knows what causes it. Dr. Bavishi said when she does the c-section she'll look in there to see if there's some scar tissue or something causing the pain. It's totally random pain so it doesn't make sense to me. I felt fine this morning then all of a sudden I could barely walk because my right side hurt so bad. I had to sit down for almost an hour before I could even get up and think about driving home. I put heat on it when I got home and took a nap and it felt better for a little while, but the pain is back now. I'm hoping it goes away soon because I have class tonight. If I have to miss it I won't miss too much, I've already got my two papers and my final project for that class done and turned in, but I'd rather go than not. We'll see. It doesn't start for two hours.
This weekend we went to see Curious George Live at the Sprint Center downtown. It was fun. Brady was totally excited! We didn't tell him where we were going and when we got there he saw a picture of George. It took him a few minutes but the more pictures of George he saw the more he put it together! Sesame Street is going to be here in January but I think we'll have to miss that since it's right around my due date.
Mackenzie doesn't like to be held and carried all the time anymore (which is ok with me because she's getting heavy and my stomach is getting big!). This was after the Curious George Live show Sunday walking back to the parking garage. She's carrying her little juice cup. What a big girl!

During the show Brady kept asking if he could go down to the stage and pet George. He said he looked fuzzy and wanted to see what he felt like!

Brady loved the show! Mackenzie spent most of the show climbing out of her chair then climbing back in her chair...and getting folded up in her chair! She didn't weigh enough to keep the seat down all the way so if she scooted all the way back it would try to eat her up! There was a little girl right behind us that she had fun playing peek-a-boo with.

Before the show. He was wearing his George jacket.
On Saturday the weather was really nice - temps in the 70's. I had to work all day, but the kids and Jeremiah enjoyed the warm weather and spent a lot of time outside. Both of them absolutely love coloring so it made their day to be able to go outside and color. We think Brady's going to be a lefty. Mackenzie usually uses her right hand, but Brady writes, colors and throws with his left.

Happy Birthday Nocerous

Jeremiah wanted some cookies for dessert tonight but we didn't have any, so we looked around to see what we did have and found a birthday cake mix. I said we couldn't have a birthday cake without a birthday to celebrate so we decided today would be a good day for Nocerous the Rhinocerous to have a birthday!!!

I sprinkled a moose on his cake because he likes moose.
Brady sang Happy Birthday to him and gave him a picture of June from the Little Einsteins that he colored for him!

Brady helped him blow out the candle and shared his piece of cake with Nocerous. I found a Spongebob hat from Brady's 2nd birthday party and put it on Nocerous. Brady was upset because he wanted a hat too, but since we were out of party hats he got to wear a Kansas City T-Bones Sizzle hat.

Happy Birthday Nocerous!!!
