Brady and Daddy...tickle time!

Heather at 12 weeks...2 weeks ago.

Brady loves tomatoes and apples. He pretty much likes all fruits, but he only likes tomatoes and cucumbers for veggies.

Doing some advanced reading!

Peek-a-boo!

Grandpa Rustin got back from Iraq at the beginning of the month so he and Grandma Robin flew in for a couple days to see Brady. Rustin had been in Iraq since February so the last time he had seen Brady was at Christmas time! He couldn't believe all the things he can do now and how quickly he gets around. He got to meet Melea too!

Reading a book with Grandma.

Yum, tomatoes!

For some reason Brady thinks it's cool to try to climb on babies. He likes to try to step on their heads. Hopefully he'll get over that before our new one gets here!

Brady in his Elmo chair. It giggles and shakes when he sits in it!

Melea is just about the same size as Brady and she's only 5 months old! He's 15 months old! She's going to be really tall. Papa Don and Nana Joyce came over for lunch with Robin and Rustin and us one day while they were here and Stacey and Jeff and Melea came for dinner! Papa Don got to play with the babies before he went home!

Cuties.

Brady's had enough fun. Time for toys.

Brady and I went to the park one night. Jeremiah had court and we wanted to get out of the house so we went down the road to the county park. Brady had fun on the slides, but he wasn't really sure about this swing.

We fed the ducks...

...correction: I fed the ducks, Brady fed himself! He didn't quite understand that he was supposed to throw that bread to the ducks.

Sleepy boy.

Brian, Terry, Eric and Jeremiah at a cancer research fundraiser last night. This is the second year we went. One of the guys that lives in the town where Jeremiah works has a croquet tournament and general get together every August to raise money for cancer research at KU. His mom died from cancer a few years ago and so he started this for her. We had lots of fun. Brian placed second in the croquet tournament and won a chiminea...he traded someone else for a duffle bag though because he didn't really need a chiminea!

Lisa went too! She had fun with Brady. One of Jeremiah's co-workers, Jason, stopped by for some dinner....Jud, the guy who hosts the fundraiser has a pig roast and tons of food for everyone. When I left with Brady around 8 p.m. they had raised about $3,000...not bad for a big backyard party!

Ava has that same Elmo chair. She loves it. She picks up and carries it everywhere.
