Robin came to visit for 10 days and is trying to get out of town tonight. Her flight is delayed...which, if we had known, we wouldn't have taken her to the airport so early today. Oh well, she's had plenty of time to read her boring school book tonight while waiting for her plane! Brady and Mackenzie loved having her in town. They took a walk one day, played with blocks and toys, colored a lot, made cookies, and did lots of crafts with glue. It was a really busy week. I had to work for the first few days she was here, but then I got to take Tuesday through Sunday off.
We cleaned out Brady's closet - which was packed from top to bottom! We cleaned out Mackenzie's closet too and took 50% of the toys out of the living room. Friday we had a garage sale for a few hours but it was really cold and there wasn't much traffic so we decided to wait until Spring to try again. We did pretty good though and sold some big stuff that was taking up room. Saturday we got pictures done with the kids because it's been a while. Today we were going to go to a pumpkin patch, but I was up half the night sick and we were just plain worn out so we stayed here and played in the yard.
It was 60 and sunny today which was wonderful because for the past seven days it's been cloudy, gloomy and in the low 40s. Tomorrow it's supposed to be almost 70 and sunny! Too bad it's back to the real world. Jeremiah got to spend a little time with his mom while she was here. He was in Iowa last week Sunday through Friday for training....although it sounds like it was just a big party! It was for advanced SWAT school so they did lots of different things like repelling down a 60 foot wall.

She's getting such personality nwo that she's starting to try to talk!!!
If only every moment was as calm and nice as this between the two of them!!!! They are getting better and learning to play with each other better.
