Baby and boating

For some reason a couple times a year a bunch of people gather across the street, unload a bunch of horses from their trailors and trot off down the road to presumably some kind of parade or rodeo or something. They're only gone for a couple of hours or so. It's weird. When it was time for lunch Sunday the horses were gathered across the street so I pulled Brady's chair into the living room so he could look out the window at the horses. He thought it was pretty cool.

Brady got to ride on the boat for the first time tonight! We finally got it fixed after almost a year of it being broken. Thank goodness the motor wasn't shot like we originally thought - it was just dirty and had some messed up wiring. Cabelas fixed it up for us. At first Brady just kind of sat there. Once he got used to his vest he had fun looking at the water and the trees and the birds. Whenever we were moving he was really good and sat in his seat like a big boy.

Brady thought it was fun to drive the boat. We parked over by one of the coves and had a picnic dinner with subs and chips.

Brady and Mommy....Brady wore his life jacket while we weren't anchored. When we were tied up Mommy stayed really close...I was paranoid he was going to go over, especially because he thought it was fun to look at the water and reach out for it!

On the way back to the dock Brady got to ride on Daddy's lap and steer the boat! Look at his serious look...what a goof.

Me at 17 weeks. Getting bigger.
